Don’t be bitter with everyone, Kiss fm presenter Jalango smacks Andrew Kibe. Media personality Andrew Kibe over the past few days recorded a video of himself bashing Jalango on what he termed as promoting “mediocrity”. Jalango has an online TV production JalangoTv which he hosts interviews for celebrities, politicians and people making headlines on the internet. The show streams online on YouTube, Facebook and Instagram has a lot of huge following.
Last week Jalango hosted a man who calls himself “mtumba man” who for the past few days has been an online sensation with his videos recorded while selling second hand clothes. His videos has a lot of humor and mostly targets ladies since he deals with ladies clothes only and thought of making funny short clips. The clips went viral on the internet and caught the attention of Jalango who lifted the man from Kisumu to Nairobi. Jalango hosted him on his online show happening at Mialle Lounge Nairobi. During the interview, the man said that at first he was shocked to see his clips doing rounds on the internet yet he didn’t record. His friend advised him to be taking those clips and post on the social media and that’s how his fame came to be. “Mtumba man” dresses on ladies clothes while calling customers as well as making his funny videos.
On that same week, Jalango hosted a TikTok star @_officialkinuthia. A man who dresses as a lady while making his TikTok videos, and has a huge following. The man applies make up and even his nails resembles that of a lady, one cannot tell he is a man on looking at the videos. He confirmed that he his a man and those videos are just for online attention, and also confirmed that he is not gay. Some men even go to an extent of seducing her thinking she is a lady, with some sending fare for her to go and meet them. On that note, there were rumors that he was arrested for allegedly asking for fare from a man and never turned up.
Andrew Kibe came out after the show to condemn Jalango on hosting such characters, that rewarding those people who dressed like ladies is a very stupid thing. He says that’s very bad as setting a bad example, many actors will start copying the same and that’s advertising homosexuality. Kibe tells Jalango that he should stop promoting mediocrity. Jalango in a post that seem to be replying Kibe says that we shouldn’t be bitter when something that worked somebody didn’t work for us. We should embrace change and accept the fact that things work differently for different people.
