How to make your internet 10x Faster

Several background processes operating on your computer that you may be unaware of are some of the applications reducing your internet speed. Having a slow internet is like having a car without fuel, it’s very disappointing. Therefore, it is prudent to check and have a good internet whenever you are surfing always. A poor internet connection is inconvenience especially when you need it the most. Here is how to make your internet 10x faster in splash of a second.

Press windows button and type the word “settings”, hit enter button and you will get a similar screen as below;

Now click on “Network and Internet” and select Ethernet as shown on the image below

Now click on “Change adapter options” then right-click on your network and choose properties. A small pop-up window will appear similar as below

Navigate to the “Configure” button and click on it. Another pop-up will appear, now choose advanced tab and select “Speed & Duplex as the property. Now go to value section, click on the dropdown and select the highest value in terms of Mbps as in my case it is 100 Mbps as shown,

Make sure it is the highest value and full duplex not half duplex. Click ok to finish the process and restart your computer for changes to take effect. That’s how your internet connection speed is improved. This is just one of the several ways to increase the internet speed.
