Kalonzo Musyoka meets Kibaki – what’s cooking?
Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka has been mysteriously missing from the public. Since Kalonzo endorsed Raila Odinga as a Presidential candidate, he has disappeared from the public leaving many Kenyans asking what he could be up to. As opposed to Martha Karua who endorsed Raila Odinga and the following day she joined the Raila’s campaign team, Kalonzo never appeared and has never appeared to accompany Raila Odinga.
Today, Kalonzo Musyoka held a meeting with The New Democrats(TND) deputy party leader Jimmy Kibaki in his Karen home, Nairobi. The two agreed to work together and ensure that Kenyans remain stable, prosperous and peaceful. The two leaders is said to have discussed several issues among them their political relationship and strong personal relationship ahead of this year’s general elections.
In a tweet Kalonzo said, “Earlier today, I met with Jimmy Kibaki & committed to strengthening our already strong personal & political relationship,”. “We also discussed the forthcoming August General Election 2022. We committed to working together & ensuring that Kenya remains stable, peaceful & prosperous.”
On his part, Jimmy Kibaki said that he has always admired Kalonzo’s moderate political style and his strong Christian values. Jimmy also acknowledged the sincere support Kalonzo gave to retired President Mwai Kibaki when he was his Vice-president. Jimmy and Kalonzo have been urging their supporters to remain peaceful in the forthcoming August elections.
