Kazi haifanywi juu ya gari – President Uhuru
President Uhuru Kenyatta has again thrown a cold attack at the Deputy President Hon. William Ruto. President Uhuru is in Mombasa to open International Health Workforce Conference 2022 and during his address, he took a swipe at his deputy Hon. William Ruto. He said “Kazi haifanywi juu ya gari, hii story ya kupepeta uongo kwa mikutano tuache.” He acknowledged that the country is moving in the right direction.
President Uhuru said that molecular institution recently opened at Kenyatta University has now treated over 200 patients almost 20 patients everyday. The patients who would have been forced to seek treatment overseas in countries like India has now been treated here. He said they have been able to incorporate technology in medical field.
President urged leaders to leave aside stories of talking lies in rallies, work is done in offices and hospitals not on top of cars in rallies. This is a sword that is directed to the deputy president who is currently active in campaigning throughout the country.
The statement came after the Deputy President Hon. William Ruto addressed the president directly that people do not want an endorsed candidate. The Deputy President spoke yesterday in Vihiga county during his campaign tour. He told the President plainly that people do not want him to endorse a candidate for presidency, the people want to vote for their candidate.
It is through such addresses that has possibly made the President to also return bunch on his deputy.
