Sir Elton John is an English songwriter, composer, pianist and a singer. He has been doing a collabo with Bernie Taupin on more than 30 albums since 1967. Bernie is a lyricist, Elton has sold many albums more than 300 million album records which made him the outstanding artist in selling albums of all time. Elton’s Farewell Yellow Brick Road made 212 million dollars gross in 2019, which is the second ranking tally in his business. Corona pandemic made him postpone his North American Tour which was to happen in April, therefore he will have to wait for the pandemic to subside before he embark on his tour. He aims at completing a 300-show on 5 continent tour. In April, his foundation announced an emergency fund worth $1 million to help people living with HIV to maintain their health during the COVID-19 pandemic period.
He was born on 25th March 1967 Pinner, United Kingdom. His full name is Elton Hercules John. He married Renate Blauel in 1984 and file for a divorce in 1988. Elton John then remained single until 2005 when she got married to David Furnish, she is the current wife. They both have two children Elijah Joseph Daniel Furnish-John and Zachary Jackson Levon Furnish-John. Elton John’s parents are Stanley Dwight and Sheila Eileen Dwight. His father Stanley was one of the main characters in the Elton John’s biopic Rocketman. The movie was played by Steven Mackintosh.
