UK trade envoy showers DP Ruto with praises after meeting Raila Odinga
Theo Clarke, the United Kingdom Boris Johnson’s trade envoy to Kenya welcomed Raila Odinga on his tour of the UK. Theo was delighted to host Raila Odinga in the UK Parliament this week. ODM leader is in UK for a week and among his delegation is Kitui governor Charity Ngilu, former Katanga MP Peter Kenneth, Hon. Junet Mohamed, Hon. Hassan Joho and COTU boss Francis Atwoli. Raila Odinga started his UK tour after the Deputy President Hon. William Ruto ended his UK tour.
Theo Clarke is among the leaders who attended the conference at Chatham House where Hon. William Ruto was giving his speech. The Deputy President was delivering a keynote speech at Malborough Peace Dialogues hosted by Commonwealth Secretary. Theo Clarke has shocked many after praising DP Ruto’s speech after meeting Raila Odinga.
