Woman in Kericho kills husband for coming home empty handed and drunk
A woman from Belgut consituency in Kericho county strangles her husband to death for coming home late, drunk and with no food. The 29 year old woman from cheptororiet village strangles her 44 year old husband Bernad Kipkorir. Kericho county criminal investigation officer John Onyango confirm this that Beatrice Chepngetich strangled Bernad using her hands for coming home while drunk and with no food.
CCIO in his words said “In our interrogation, the suspect confessed that she had strangled her husband for being good-for-nothing husband. She said she was fed up with the deceased who she claimed was drunk and had failed to provide for the family of two children”. CCIO made an observation that the deceased husband had injuries in the neck. The deceased was left lying on their matrimonial bed”.
According to a neighbor witness Robert, he said “The woman had even packed her clothes recently to move and stay at Nyagacho over a month when they had also another disagreement with the husband”. Roberted noted that the couple oftenly quarreled over the drunkenness of the husband.
