Dr. Jane Kimani hawked tights and sold Omena to cover the husband’s honour when he lost his job. She is a relationship expert and has advised women who don’t give their husbands a shoulder to lean on. At some point Dr. Jane said men go through a lot of pressure on their marriages simply because of their cultures and women need to know how to handle them. Her husband Dr. Julius Kimani also gave a shot to the ladies on how to give a helping to the husband and make the house stand firm. He said “It is important for ladies to be able to put their foot down and define the chores they will do and those they won’t because otherwise they can become the donkey of the home.”
Dr. Jane gave a thrilling move when she gave her story about his husband losing the job shortly after they got married. According to Jane, Women need to be patient with their husbands and work together towards making their marriage a success story. She started hawking tights and sell Omena just to cover the husband’s honour when he lost his job after just got married. She didn’t tell her parents about the husband losing the job as she wanted to cover him and show love they vowed together to protect. Jane said “My husband lost his job shortly after we got married and I did not tell my parents. I hawked tights and sold omena. I covered his honour and we’ve been together for 20 years. The problem with today’s woman is that they hide their small money from their husbands.”
Jane said Couples ought to be taught how to take care of their spouses and instantiate the coastal people that they are taught at a younger age how to take care of their spouses. Teaching them at a younger age will lower down the divorce cases. “Coasterians are taught how to take care of their spouses from a young age. They also know how to take care of themselves and they are beautiful. Their rate of divorce is very low.” Jane said.
Dr. Julius Kimani advises the couple to persevere in marriage and trim their expectations because they cannot be loved by everybody in the family. It is good to understand who brought you to that family and the person who brought you is the one who matters most because you did not come to be loved by everybody. “You need to understand that all your in laws cannot love you 100%. Try to have a good relationship with your spouse.” Kimani said
Dr. Jane Kimani advised couples to pick their battles wisely to avoid dying very young so don’t fight every battle. “Pick your battles wisely because if you don’t you are going to die very young. Ignore conflicted areas and mark your boundaries but also be accommodative.” Dr. Jane said. She said some are not even worth the battles, some just require your strong opinion to go through it.
